A family-owned cake business has opened its first permanent store at a city shopping centre.

M&M Sweet Treats opened its new unit in Chantry Place on Friday in the space previously occupied by the Watch Hospital.

The business has run successful pop-ups at the centre throughout the year but has now taken on a permanent shop.
