Plans to replace a former beauty salon with a tattoo studio have been given the green light by the city council.

True Love Tattoos is set to move from its current premises in Bridewell Alley to a larger site in St Gregorys Alley.

The building, next to Athena Games, has been vacant since the iBar beauty clinic closed down earlier this year.

Designs submitted to Norwich City Council show plans to establish a main studio area, reception, kitchenette and toilet on the ground floor - with a shop space and storage area on the lower ground floor.

A spokeswoman for True Love Tattoos said the move was a "positive" one.
