Signs have been unveiled at the site of the new Five Guys restaurant in Norwich.

Building work is well under way ahead of the launch of the chain's second branch in the city.

The American burger joint is opening its doors in Unit 1 of the Riverside leisure complex in the former Frankie and Benny's.

The restaurant has not revealed its opening hours yet but the Orford Place branch currently opens from 10.30am to 11pm from Sunday to Thursday, opening until midnight on Friday and Saturday.

The Restaurant Group which owns Frankie and Benny's as well as Wagamamas and Chiquito closed the Riverside restaurant in late May.  

Building work is currently ongoing with a lot of the Five Guys kitchen already installed.

The exact opening date of the store has not been confirmed and Five Guys has been contacted for comment. 

Five Guys opened its restaurant in Orford Place in October 2016 and replaced Pizza Hut.
