Solve a murder while sipping cocktails as an independent bar in Norwich city centre launches its new menu.

Couple Ellie and Laura Whatling opened Tipsy Jar in Redwell Street in November 2021 and it built on the success of the cocktail delivery service they launched during lockdown.

From November 1, the bar menu theme changes to murder mystery, with 10 new cocktails that are each named after a suspect.

The flavours match their character traits, such as hot-headed Danny with a ghost chilli mango margarita and social media-obsessed Jazz with a pumpkin-spiced tipple.

When customers order each cocktail, which can be across several visits, they will be given clues to help discover the culprit.

There are also five new non-alcoholic drinks named after murder weapons - though these aren't essential in solving the crime.

Ellie Whatling said: "We are an interactive bar so we like to keep things fresh for our customers and hopefully it will add a bit of fun to their night."

Tipsy Jar is open Tuesday to Thursday 4pm-11.30pm, Friday 4pm-midnight and Saturday 1pm-midnight (closed Sunday and Monday).
