The duo behind a much-loved stall on Norwich Market are expanding with a new bar in the city centre.

Business partners Toby Westgarth and Dominic Burke of Sir Toby's Beers have unveiled plans for a "continental beer bar" called Bier Draak at 42 King Street.

It will feature draught and bottled German and Belgian beers alongside a selection of cold meats and cheeses.

Mr Westgarth said: "Our second place in Norwich has been requested by our regulars at our beer shop and bar on Norwich Market for years, so it is very exciting to answer that call.

"Having started our lives in the industry knowing mainly craft beer, it is great to go back to the roots of brewing and offer some of these historic beer styles that you don’t see on beer lists often enough."

The pair also took on the Stanford Arms pub in 2021 and a bar at street food venue East Point Pavilion in 2022, which are both in Lowestoft, Suffolk.
