From timings to the drink selection, here is all you need to know ahead of the 45th Norwich Beer Festival at The Halls. 

What are the dates and timings for the Norwich Beer Festival 2023?

The Norwich Beer Festival returns to The Halls in St Andrew's Plain from Monday, October 23 until Saturday, October 28 2023.

The CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale) preview is from 4pm-5pm on Monday and then it opens to the public from 5pm-10pm. 

On Tuesday and Wednesday, there are two sessions each day from 11.30am-3pm and 5pm-10pm. 

On Thursday and Friday, it is the same time apart from the evening session ends an hour later at 11pm.

On Saturday, the festival is open all day from 11.30am-9pm.

All lunchtime sessions are £2, except Friday which is £4, and evening prices range from £4-£7 - Saturday all-day tickets are £4.

Once inside you can purchase beer tokens at the glass stand, along with a refundable glass deposit, by cash or card. 

There are advance entry tickets, which include a £10 starter pack, available at norwich.camra.org.uk, though most people pay at the door. 

Free entry to all sessions is available to CAMRA members, including those who join at the event who will receive two free pints.

What beers will be on offer?

The live beer and cider list will be published at norwich.camra.org.uk around mid-October. 

A huge variety of ales will be on offer, with the more unusual available at the Curiosity Bar.

There is also a dedicated Cider and Perry Bar and the popular World Beer Bar returns to the marquee.  

There will be a limited number of Norwich Beer Festival collectable glasses available with the new logo and an engraver will be on-site. 

There will be at least 35 gluten-free beers and more than 50 vegan beers.

Will there be any food and entertainment? 

There will be hot and cold snacks and meals available in Blackfriars' Hall. 

There will also be social events and tutored tastings during the festival, with details TBC. 

Live music will be in Blackfriars' Hall on Thursday evening, Friday on both sessions and all day Saturday.
