School children in a city suburb have buried time capsules, including a special note from celebrity Stephen Fry to commemorate the opening of a new care home.

The new care home, Mousehold View Residential and Dementia Care Home, is situated at the site of the former Start-Rite shoe warehouse in Mousehold Lane.

Inside the capsule the children have included drawings of King Charles III, a detailed account of a day in the life of a school pupil in 2023 and a list of their favourite books, toys, food, music and TV programmes.
