A man is to stand trial accused of strangling his ex-wife.
Nicky Piggin, 32, has been charged with strangulation and common assault against his ex-wife in Hethersett on February 12 this year.
He has also been charged with damaging a glass door worth £200, on the same date.
Piggin, currently of St George's Hotel, Great Yarmouth, appeared at Norwich Crown Court on Friday (September 15) wearing a white shirt and grey shorts and denied all three charges.
Recorder Andrew McLoughlin fixed a trial for October 14 next year.
