A contemporary florist in Norwich is looking to expand into the wedding industry after celebrating a "whirlwind" first year.
Emily Brown launched Posy Flwrs last September and the 37-year-old has been "blown away" by the popularity of the business.
Having only planned to do weekly bouquets while she started out, the flowers have been "more popular than imagined" with workshops selling out in days.
Moving forward, Miss Brown has plans to offer weddings after being "totally surprised" by the number of bridal enquiries despite not advertising the service.
"I hadn’t really promoted the wedding flowers aspect of my business," she said. "People got in touch with me because they liked how different my style of floristry was.
"It brings me so much joy creating flowers for someone’s big day and my plan is to put a lot more focus on marketing as a wedding supplier moving forward."
Miss Brown describes her style as contemporary, sculptural and fun - "breaking the rules" of traditional floristry.
people want something different and fun to put on the tables.
She added: "I've found"I pick more unusual flowers you don't see in the supermarkets with lots of bright colours and sculptural forms.
"I have tested the water with growing my own flowers and would like to offer more locally grown flowers."
Ms Brown, a mother of two, previously worked with children and has a degree in graphic design.
Her first paid commission was for Dame Judi Dench who "absolutely loved the flowers".
