One of the world's best cocktail bars is visiting Norwich for the first time, with a bespoke pop-up planned at a new foodie festival.

Tayer + Elementary, based in Shoreditch, came second in the World’s 50 Best Bars list for 2023.

The bar focuses on a rotating menu of seasonal classics served in simple glasses that are designed to place the focus on the liquid, rather than decoration.

The bar is bringing its forensically designed flavours to the Junkyard Food Festival next month.

Organiser Michael Femi-Ola said: "All the cocktails will be made and poured at the festival and we are super excited to invite some of the most respected mixologists to the city.

"To have people named as the best cocktail makers in the world agree to partner with us is unbelievable, it's a pinch-me moment."
