One of the 80s stars on the line-up for Let's Rock Norwich 2023 is no longer able to perform at the event.

The retro music festival returns to Earlham Park on Saturday, August 19 from 11am until 10.30pm, with the music starting at 12noon.

Scottish singer-songwriter Midge Ure had been scheduled to perform, but his set has now been cancelled.

His top ten hits in the 80s were No Regrets and number one single If I Was and he is a regular at Let's Rock festivals across the UK.

A statement on the Let's Rock Norwich Facebook page said: "We regret to inform you that Midge Ure will no longer be attending Let’s Rock Norwich due to personal scheduling issues.

"An exciting replacement will be announced in the coming days."

The Norwich line-up is Bananarama, Happy Mondays, Tony Hadley, Heaven 17, The Farm, Five Star, Johnny Hates Jazz, Toyah, T'Pau, Neville Staple, Hollywood Beyond, Blancmange, Junior Giscombe, Janet Kay, Neal X of Sigue Sigue Sputnik and Livin Joy.
