A Norwich burger brand is opening its own premises after its pub kitchen residency came to an end. 

The Bun Exchange moved into the kitchen at The Butcher Bhoy in Exchange Street in December 2021.

On August 1, The Bun Exchange announced on social media that they had left.

Chef-owner Jeff Taylor is now finalising plans for the Bun Exchange's own premises, which will be in the Norwich Lanes with the exact location yet to be announced.

In the meantime, he is holding a Secret Burger Club pop-up at the former Micawbers Tavern in Pottergate, at the bottom of Cow Hill, on August 18, 19, 25 and 26. 

Mr Taylor said: "We have had so much support from customers and people in the industry.

"The new permanent restaurant will serve pizzas, flatbreads, burgers, including Feast Trays, cocktails and desserts from local business Kookie Ko."
