Plans have been submitted for five new homes in a north Norfolk village.
If approved by Broadland District Council, the properties would be constructed in an unused field off Frettenham Road in Horstead.

The application is currently under consideration for outline permission, meaning specific designs have not yet been released by the developer.
But a planning statement submitted to Broadland states that "should outline planning permission be granted, a high quality scheme can be designed".
A need for new housing in Horstead has been stressed by both locals and the parish council in the past - with many arguing young people would not stay in the area without new homes.

But district council planning officials say developments in open countryside should be avoided as they could impact the local landscape.
Earlier this year, a housing developer who had fought to build just two homes in the village had his application rejected on the grounds that it would cause "significant and demonstrable harm" to the landscape.
This was despite the scheme being reduced from an initial five properties.
