Two heavyweights in Norwich's food scene are teaming up to open a low-and-slow smokehouse.
Tom Shiers of Fupburger at The Ten Bells and Derek Hardy of Spanish restaurant Don Txoko, both in St Benedicts Street, are joining forces for an exciting new project.
Fupinsmoke is set to open in the city centre at a date to be confirmed, with the location also still to be announced.

Mr Shiers said: "It will be a Texas barbecue and bourbon bar with all the meats cooked low and slow on massive smokers, with things like beef brisket, chicken wings and burnt ends.
"Derek brings the hardcore barbecue expertise and this will be combined with a sprinkling of Fupburger magic."

The drinks will include a range of bourbons and whiskies, craft and American beers and cocktails.
Mr Hardy said: "We have similar passions and years ago I used to compete in barbecue competitions in Memphis and Kansas City.
"We both already have lots of fantastic suppliers locally and abroad and we can get some very good butchered meats."
