The much-awaited Urban Outfitters finally opens in Norwich today.

It was announced that the American retailer would be launching a store in Chantry Place in June last year.

The only other Urban Outfitters in East Anglia is in Cambridge.

The new store, in the former Carluccio's unit, is spread over two floors and accessed via Chantry Square.

The Carluccio's cafe and shop closed just before Christmas in 2018.

Passerbys have been peering into the windows in recent days to get a glimpse at the stock, even trying the door to see if the store is actually open.

Every corner is with packed women's and men's clothes as well as vintage items, homeware, music and accessories.
