1. The Wildman

Where: 29 Bedford Street, Norwich, NR2 1AG

The Wildman is known for being more of a traditional watering hole.

This pub, which was voted top of Muddy Stilettos 2023, also serves up tasty cocktails including spritzes, all the classics and a range of mocktails.

Make sure to explore the Cocktail Club offer where you can get two for £12 every day between 4pm and 8pm.

2. Mr Postles' Apothecary

Where: 2 Upper King Street, Norwich, NR3 1HA

Mr Postles' Apothecary offers cocktails with "innovation and imagination" as it takes inspiration from Victorian apothecaries.

Its potions include the Fish Out Of Water which has Plymouth Gin, Chambord and is finished with dry ice.

The Mr Postles Zombie cocktail is a twist on the classic served with a flaming passion fruit to finish. 

The bar also offers food such as small plates, wings and burgers using fresh ingredients.

 

3. Chambers Cocktail Company 

Where: 12-14 Wensum Street, Norwich, NR3 1HY

This bar has previously been named the best in the country and it uses homemade ingredients to make drinks with a difference.

Its menu includes cocktails inspired by movies including Dawn of the Dead, with rum, pineapple and cherry brandy, and Pineapple Express which features tequila and Caribbean liqueur. 

4. Tipsy Jar

Where: 8 Redwell Street, Norwich, NR2 4SN

Decorated in an industrial style, Tipsy Jar serves its customers cocktails in a jar and won the Muddy Stilettos award for best bar in Norwich in 2022. 

Drinkers can get creative with their drinks and are given glasses, ice and garnishes to make up their own cocktails.

Its menu currently features drinks that are inspired by bucket list trips. 

5. 11th and Social 

Where: 11 Upper King Street, Norwich, NR3 1RB

One of Norwich's newest bars, 11th and Social is inspired by the New York cocktail scene.

It is run by Matthew Dakers whose hospitality career has seen him nominated for the UK's best bartender twice.

The bar's menu has a collection of signature cocktails such as the Manhattan Project, made with peanut butter, and the Breakfast at Tiffany's which features marmalade.

6. Gonzo's 

Where: 68 London Street, Norwich, NR2 1JT

Gonzo's was once named among the top 30 cocktail bars in the UK by The Times.

Customers can enjoy their mixed drinks on the bar's roof terrace. Choose from a Jazzy Jeff with tequila, raspberry, pomegranate, and orange blossom soda or an Al Fresco which is a Barcelonian twist on an Aperol spritz. 

7. Rooftop Gardens

Where: 51-59 Rose Lane, Norwich, NR1 1BY

Rooftop Gardens allows you to enjoy a cocktail or two while taking in views of the Norwich skyline.

Its menu includes Aluna Colada, with toasted coconut rum, amaretto, cream, pineapple, Nautilus, made with tequila, and a cooling Double Melon Collins.
