The closure of a post office has prompted a city MP to take action after 93pc of his constituents labelled it a "big loss for the community".
Lakenham Post Office closed permanently on April 28 "following the resignation of the postmaster", according to a poster on the shop's door.
Letters were subsequently sent to people living in the area by Norwich South MP Clive Lewis, asking for their views on whether the community needs a post office.

He said 93pc of locals said they still want the service in their area, with 30pc claiming the closure will negatively impact elderly and disabled communities.
This has prompted Mr Lewis to pen a letter to Post Office Limited calling for the company to "do everything [it] can" to keep a site in Lakenham.
"Some constituents expressed concern that the loss would have 'knock-on' adverse effects on other businesses in the area," he wrote.
"I'm backing my constituents' calls to keep a post office in the local area and urge you to do everything you can to make that a reality for them."
