1. Frank Spurgeon Family Butchers

This shop may be small but it is packed with everything you need for the perfect barbecue, including its award-winning pork sausage using the recipe created by Frank Spurgeon himself 85 years ago.

2. Archer's Butchers

Located just off the Heartsease roundabout to the east of the city, Archer's has lasted for almost a century for a reason.

5. Paul's Family Butchers
