Firefighters have battled a blaze at a former school in Norfolk.

Emergency services were called just before 7pm to reports of an outbuilding fire at the former Hethersett Woodside Primary & Nursery school off Firs Road.

The building became engulfed in flames which caused thick smoke to billow into the sky.

Two Norfolk Fire Service crews from Hethersett and Earlham attended and used hose reel jets to extinguish the fire.
