The owners of a popular cocktail delivery service and mobile bar have mixed things up by opening a shop on the outskirts of Norwich.

Doxi was launched in 2020 in response to the pandemic by couple Amy Hargreaves and Steven Cole, both aged 30, who live in Hellesdon.

The pair needed to adapt as they ran the mobile Globe Trotter Bar, but had upcoming bookings cancelled due to lockdown.

Luckily, the bottled cocktails proved very popular and what started as just local deliveries led to a successful website sending orders across the country.

It is stocked at retailers such as Bakers and Larners of Holt and St Giles Pantry in Norwich too.

Since December 2022, Doxi has also had a bar residency at Alchemista coffee shop in the Norwich Lanes from Thursday to Sunday from 5pm until late.

After outgrowing their home as the production base, they spotted a shop available at Hellesdon Barns.

Miss Hargreaves said: "We were one of the first ones to do bottled cocktails in Norwich and we have never slowed down - we also rebranded the Globe Trotter Bar to Doxi last year.

"Hellesdon Barns is just around the corner from our home and it is also the perfect opportunity to showcase both ours and other Norfolk brands."

Other Norfolk businesses stocked include jewellery from Sapphire Frills and One of a Kind Club, Grumpy Panda Coffee and wine from the likes of Flint Vineyard.

Miss Hargreaves added: "The reaction has been really good so far and Hellesdon Barns is such a lovely hub of local businesses."

Doxi Local is open at Hellesdon Barns on Wednesday to Saturday from 10am-4pm and Sunday 11am-3pm, with delivery through doxibars.co.uk
