From favourites like sweet and sour chicken to chow mein, a Chinese takeaway is a welcome treat for many at the end of the week.
And it seems the cuisine is even challenging fish and chips for the top spot of the nation's favourite.
Here are seven of the best Chinese restaurants and takeaways in and around the city that offer delivery.
1. Baby Buddha Chinese Teahouse
Where: 139 Ber Street, Norwich, NR1 3EY
This family-run restaurant in the city specialises in dim sum and dumplings but has lots of other dishes to try.
In 2019, it was nominated for a national award as a finalist in the best dumpling category at the Golden Chopsticks Awards.
2. Moonlight Palace
Where: Earlham House Shops, Earlham Road, Norwich NR2 3PD
Diners can either enjoy a meal at the restaurant itself or order a takeaway for collection or delivery from the NR2 site.
It offers all the favourites and vegetarians and vegans are well catered for also.

3. The Canton Chinese Restaurant

Canton Chinese Restaurant offers an extensive menu with some regional specialities to try.
It offers takeaway and dine-in and on the menu, you can also find some Thai and Korean-inspired dishes.
4. East
Where: 86 Colman Road, Norwich, NR4 7EH
Opened in 2010 by the Lau brothers, East brings fresh and authentic Chinese cuisine to the people of Norwich.
It offers a 10pc discount to students and emergency services and delivers within a three-mile radius.
5. Dragon City
Where: 222 Sprowston Road, Norwich, NR3 4HT
Dragon City has a wide and varied menu that also offers Thai and Japanese dishes.
Try the dim sum platter which includes 20 pieces served with an XO sauce.

6. Duck Sifu
Where: 46 London Street, Norwich, NR2 1LA
Nestled in London Street, a busy shopping area in the city centre, Duck Sifu offers authentic Chinse cuisine available to eat-in or for delivery and takeaway.
Duck Sifu's owner Paul Liu prides himself on offering more authentic Chinese street food rather than familiar spring rolls and other dishes that have become popularly associated with the country's cuisine but don't necessarily reflect what people eat in China.
Try out the Hainan chicken or baozi dumplings for something a bit different.
7. Lotus House
Where: Bishop Bridge Road, Norwich, NR1 4ET
Lotus House emphasises its use of natural and fresh ingredients and offers classics like crispy duck and Szechuan beef.
You can pick up your takeaway from the restaurant or opt for delivery.
