A much-loved city centre shop is closing its doors for the final time this month.

Award-winning independent retailer The Little Shop of Vegans is owned by Rachel Cox, and sold gifts, snacks, frozen ready meals, and chocolate treats.

The Norwich shop, which is located on Saint Benedicts Street, posted on Facebook: "Dear customers, as many of you already know, the time has come for me to close the doors and move on to adventures new.

The shop made a U-turn on its decision to close in September last year, remaining open as customers old and new started "flocking back" after the announcement.

Even so, financial pressures meant cuts had to be made to space and staffing to combat rising energy bills.

Their last day of trading will be Saturday, April 15.
