Just one month on from opening, a paralysed man's coffee shop is going from strength to strength.

Simon Kindleysides opened his coffee shop One Cup or Two in Costessey a month ago, with lots of experience in hospitality he was keen to return to the industry as a business owner.

Now aged 39, the Blofield man was diagnosed with functional neurological disorder and a glioma brain tumour in 2013 leaving him paralysed from the waist down but Simon has been determined not to let this stop him from doing anything.

Simon has become a celebrity of sorts in Costessey and the surrounding areas with word even travelling to Cromer, Ipswich and Sheringham as people head to the suburb to try the homemade cakes.

He said: “I have big plans which I will share closer to the summer, but I am dreaming big.”

After the “life-changing” response Simon has said that he wants to move to Old Costessey so he can live closer to his business and live in the community he has come to love.
