Budding photographers can discover the best night-time views of Norwich as they explore the Fine City.

Experienced photographers Dibs McCallum and Duncan Arnold are inviting snappers to join them on a walk as they offer their top tips to people of any ability.

The photo walks form part of their many Through the Lens workshops, which offer guidance to groups of around 10-15 people per session.

The sessions take place in a different Norfolk location each month, encouraging attendees to shoot in spots they may not otherwise have considered.

Dibs and Duncan started organising the walks around eight years ago, and have been touring Nelson's County with their cameras ever since.

Dibs said: “It’s like an unofficial camera club. We meet up, have a natter about all things photography. It’s really, really nice.

“We get people come along who are absolute seasoned photographers, who come along more for the companionship. You get people who might have just bought their camera in the last couple of months.

“We always do offer a little bit of help if people do need it but everyone tends to be there more for the chatter.”

Dibs says attendees can range anywhere from 15 to 80 years old.

Previous walks have taken place in Cromer, Great Yarmouth and King's Lynn, but they try not to follow the same route twice.

Norwich routes have included locations further out from the city centre, such as Anglia Square, Kett's Heights and Earlham Road.

Dibs said: “We’ve had people who have come to us at intermediate level photography and they’re way off now working as photographers professionally.

“It’s just formed this network of people locally who love what we do.”

This month’s photo walk will follow a route along Riverside on Thursday evening between 7pm and 10pm. Tickets cost £15 and can be purchased at throughthelensworkshops.co.uk.
