The search has begun to find the owner of a feathered friend found wandering idly on the streets of NR3.
Green city councillor Alex Catt, who represents the Sewell ward, was out door-knocking when he came across the distinctive creature, which remains nameless, in Churchill Road on Sunday, March 12.
It had been known to hang around people's gardens before then.

"It’s obviously a pet that has gotten loose and not a wild bird.
"I agreed I would take it in while we try and find the owner.
"It's definitely not something you'd usually see. I couldn’t let it stay walking around as it could have been squashed."
Cllr Catt, who has experience looking after fledglings, is anticipating his guardianship will be short-lived as he hopes the rightful owner of his new feathered friend comes forward.
