A city arts centre has announced an award-winning actor, comedian and podcaster will be joining its ranks as a patron.
In a post on social media, Norwich Arts Centre confirmed that Adam Buxton - who hosts a popular podcast and is a Norfolk local - is among a number of new faces to be joining as patrons.
In the post, Mr Buxton said: "Everything that’s interesting in mainstream culture started life out on the fringes with people encouraging them and helping them develop.

"The Norwich Arts Centre provides a friendly, well-run and well-resourced venue for that to happen as well as being a space for work that isn’t interested in the mainstream at all - but is often the most exciting stuff out there.
"If becoming a patron plays a small part in helping all that continue I’ll be delighted."
The centre will be announcing its other new patrons over the coming weeks.
Adam Buxton lives near Wymondham, where he records his self-titled podcast from his home.
