From Kett's Rebellion to Pablo Fanque, Norwich is steeped in rich history which is being celebrated this week.
To mark English Tourism Week, which runs until March 26, a tour guide is offering various walking experiences, exploring areas from the city centre to the Broads.
Paul Dickson, of Paul Dickson Tours, has been guiding visitors through the city's 2000-plus streets for eight years now and said: "English Tourism Week is all about celebrating the range and diversity of the tourism industry.

"So I want to showcase eight of the guided tours that I offer around Norwich and the Broads.
"It's an opportunity for people to discover aspects of the city's history that they may not have encountered before."

One of the tours will explore the historic Norwich Lanes, with stories of the Hampshire Hog Yard, Ninham's, Rigby and Watts Courts.
Another focusses on following the in the footsteps of the letter-writing 15th century Pastons who created the earliest and largest collection of documents detailing everyday lives.
