A local bartender is shaking things up at a Norwich coffee shop by bringing his cocktail club to the venue.

Arthur Maber, 37, who has worked in various bars for a decade, launched Rotters Club last summer and it has popped up at a handful of city venues.

On Sunday, April 9 he is going to The Yard Coffee for the first time, which is in the glass-fronted Pivotal House in Orford Yard, off Red Lion Street.

The coffee shop opened in 2021 and is run by Gee Gallant, Shane Blake and Tait Pollack, with the space shared with Jorge's Tasca tapas restaurant, and the pair secured an alcohol licence in late 2022.

Mr Maber said: "I serve alternative cocktails and it isn't about getting drunk but creating a community and sharing an experience.

"It has had a really good reaction at other venues so if it works at The Yard Coffee it will be a regular event."

All cocktails are vegan-friendly and tickets are available on Eventbrite, with a link on The Rotters Club Instagram page.
