The woodland dens at Whitlingham Broad campsite give the impression of stepping right into a fairytale home.

Raised above the ground on stilts, climbing up the steps into the treehouse-style accommodation feels very magical.

It is a private entrance set in a private woodland - glamping has never felt so luxurious.

Stepping inside, the den feels like both the fanciest hotel someone could imagine and a cabin in the woods.

It has a complete kitchen that even has a whistling kettle.

From the front door you can see right through the living area and to the balcony that provides views of the campsite and even across to the lake and the train tracks – it is breathtaking.

Just outside the front door there is extra wood for the firepit and the log burner – set within the private woodland.

The living area has a sofa and a chair that can easily be transformed into a double and a single bed for larger groups, despite being open plan, it is very cosy.

After the sun set, lighting the log burner quickly meant the den was warm and homely.

At the top of the stairs there is a double bed to the left, with a window that lets light shine in when the sunrises - we even watched a woodpecker from this window.
