A major supermarket chain has announced it will be hiring nearly 400 people across Norfolk.

Aldi is looking for 390 people of all experience levels to fill roles across the region - with salaries of up to £63,000.

The new job opportunities come as Aldi expands nationwide, opening a number of new stores across the UK over the next year.

A new Aldi supermarket near the A47 in Norwich will be opening in the autumn of this year.

Aldi got planning permission from South Norfolk Council to build a store on a 0.8-hectare plot off William Frost Way on Costessey's Longwater Business Park in April 2021.

Roles include full and part-time positions such as caretakers, store assistants and store managers.

Store assistants at Aldi receive a starting pay of £11.00 an hour nationally.

Elsewhere in Norfolk, Aldi is looking to hire people in Diss and King's Lynn.

Those interested in applying for a job with Aldi can visit Aldi's recruitment page.

There are other Aldi stores in Norwich at Hall Road, Plumstead Road and Drayton Road.
