Startling footage of someone appearing to ride on a city tower block lift, recreating a dangerous online craze, is not being investigated by police.
On February 1 footage emerged online of someone inside an elevator shaft originally posted on the @roman_tayl0r account on Instagram.
The post was tagging the location at Westlegate Tower, looking similar to a perilous practice called 'lift surfing'.

But after police spoke with the building's manager Watsons Property, which said it was made aware of the "illegal access of a secure premises in Westlegate Tower" earlier this month, the incident is no longer being looked into.
A police spokeswoman said: "There is no evidence to suggest any criminal offences have occurred.
"As a result, no investigation has been recorded."

Simon Masser, 73, who lives in the building said at the time: "The people doing this are being a danger to themselves as well as anyone else in the building.
"The whole activity is ridiculous really - there's not much else I can say about it honestly."
