A teenage couple says they are "too scared" to go home after being chased by two men with a knife.
Zoe Wilson and Lewis Tuthill, who live in Langley Walk in Heigham Grove, were walking down Old Palace Road with their 13-week-old puppy at around 6pm on Wednesday when the incident occurred.
Zoe, who is 19 and studies at Anglia Ruskin University, said: "Two people were walking towards us, both wearing dark tracksuit bottoms, with one wearing a black puffer jacket and the other navy blue while also carrying a plastic shopping bag.
"They suddenly stopped about 10 to 20 metres from us and put the bag down.
"I noticed one of them had what looked like a kitchen knife, with a five or six-inch blade, in their hand."
Lewis, 18, who works for Aviva, said: "Zoe shouted 'run' so I grabbed our puppy Tika and started to sprint in the opposite direction.
"They chased after us shouting and swearing at us before we got to where we parked the car around Devonshire Street."
Zoe added: "We kept screaming to try and attract as much attention as possible but I was scared for our lives.
"It lasted all of about 15 seconds before they stopped chasing us and a neighbour nearby came by to make sure we were alright."
The couple notified the police who stayed on the line with them until they drove to Bethel Street Station.
A police spokeswoman confirmed: "The case is under investigation."
The incident has left the pair "terrified" forcing them to temporarily move in with parents.
Zoe added: "I haven't been able to sleep since it happened.
"It's absolutely terrified me, to be honest.
"We just want to make people aware that these people might still be about in the area."
