From the Royal Norfolk Show to Sundown Festival, there is something for everyone in the 2023 programme at the Norfolk Showground.

1. The East Anglia Wedding Show

When: February 25-26, 10am-4pm

Price: From £5.50, under 16s free, buy on the Banqueting Hire website 

This huge wedding fair returns in February and is a one-stop shop for all your needs before your big day, with everything from bridalwear to cake makers. 

There will also be an oasis garden bar where visitors can relax with a drink, with a ticket option that includes a cocktail or glass of prosecco, and The Orangery Tea Room at Ketteringham Hall will be running a pop-up afternoon tea space.

2. Race for Life

When: May 13-14 

Price: Various prices depending on the event, visit the Race for Life website

Get down and dirty as the Pretty Muddy fun run in aid of Cancer Research UK returns on May 13, with a 5k course of obstacles and a separate children's race.

Then on Sunday is the Race for Life, with distances of 3km, 5km or 10km, and you can walk, jog or run.

3. The Royal Norfolk Show

When: June 28: 8am-8pm, June 29: 8am-7pm 

Price: Day tickets: Adults (17-64): £27.50, over 65s: £23, children (5-16): £12, buy on the Royal Norfolk Show website

Thousands of people head to the venue every year for the country's biggest two-day agricultural show. 

There will be 700 trade stands, more than 3,000 animals, a packed Grand Ring Programme, a huge food and drink experience and hundreds of attractions.

4. Norfolk Garden Show

When: July 14-16, 10am-5pm 

Price: Day tickets: Adults: (16+): £10, over 60s: £9, children (5-15): free, buy on the Norfolk Garden Show website 

The Norfolk Showground will burst into bloom with a three-day gardening extravaganza this summer.

It will feature the outdoor Plant Village, a food and drink marquee, a craft and gift marquee and much more.

5. VW Whitenoise Festival 

When: August 11-13

Price: Various weekend camping packages are available, Sunday day tickets are on sale now with Saturday available soon, buy on the VW Whitenoise website

This is a must-visit festival for Volkswagen enthusiasts and it is returning to Norfolk for its 18th edition, with the main event being the Sunday show ‘n shine.

It offers an affordable camping weekend with a live stage and dance tent, free roller skating and a children's entertainer.

6. All About Dogs Show

When: August 27-28, 9.30am-5pm 

Price: Day tickets: Adults (16+): £12.50, over 60s: £12, children (5-15): £7, camping tickets also available, buy on the All About Dogs Show website

Head to the Norfolk Showground with your four-legged friend over the August bank holiday weekend.

There will be exciting arena displays, expert advice, have-a-go activities, fun dog shows, where your pet can win rosettes, K9 Aqua Sports, talent competitions and more.

7. Sundown Festival 

When: September 1-3 

Price: Various day and weekend tickets going on sale soon on the Sundown Festival website

Sundown is Norfolk's biggest music festival and the line-up will be revealed imminently, with the 2022 headliners Sean Paul and AJ Tracey.

The event sees chart-topping acts and upcoming DJs play across multiple stages and there is a campsite for people who want to stay all weekend.
