A popular bakery in Norfolk has been named the fourth best in Britain.

Bread Source has been named in British Baker's list of best artisan bakeries in Britain in 2023.

The popular, trendy bakery was founded in 2012 by Steve Winter, who was British Baker’s Baker of the Year in 2020.

The artisan bakery hand-bakes bread, pastries, and confectionery and has expanded rapidly across Norwich and can be found in Upper St Giles, the Refectory Café at Norwich Cathedral, Bridewell Alley, Norwich Market, Magdalen Street, and Marriott Close.

It also has a branch in Aylsham.

Bread Source recently took on its sixth city site as the new operator at The Refectory Café in Norwich Cathedral, which was previously run by Jarrold.

Over 100 artisan bakers, consultants, suppliers and lecturers were asked to vote for their favourite artisan bakeries.

Each voter was hand-selected by British Baker with the voters broken down by region to ensure bakeries across Britain had an equal opportunity to shine.
