As Steve Lamacq presented his BBC 6 Music show from Norwich Arts Centre, 2014 Mercury Prize winners Young Fathers took to the stage.
Used to performing at venues three times the size of the St Benedicts Street venue, the Scottish trio held their first gig in four years on Wednesday night, to a sell-out crowd as part of Independent Venue Week.
The group instantly had fans in the palm of their hands opening with Rice from their new album Heavy Heavy, before hitting the crowd with more familiar material from previous albums White Men Are Black Men Too and Dead.
Their performances mixed hip-hop with indie while venturing through soul with a punk attitude.

Singers Alloysious Massaquoi, Kayus Bankole and G Hastings are a thrill to watch as they stalk the stage exchanging places and lurching into the audience throughout the show.
They are backed by throbbing electronic beats, spiky guitars and primal drumming as their voices dip and weave around one another creating stunning harmonies.
And the crowd lap up every second of it, bouncing, chanting and dancing to Young Fathers' irresistible grooves.
