A Norfolk mum battling incurable secondary breast cancer is determined to complete her 'dream list' with her family with the time she has left.

Danni Day was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2017 aged 29, enduring chemotherapy and hair loss.

The graphic designer for South Norfolk and Broadland Council went through reconstructive surgery and radiotherapy at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital (NNUH) with partner Craig by her side and went into remission a year later.

She was dealt the heartbreaking news that she wouldn’t be able to have children, but two years later fell pregnant with her "little miracle" son Bodhi, now two.

But in December Danni felt unwell with stomach pains and it was discovered her cancer had returned.

She was diagnosed with secondary breast cancer spread to her liver and was later discovered in her lung, which is being treated by daily chemotherapy tablets she will take indefinitely to keep the spread at bay.

Keeping a positive outlook despite being told she had a prognosis of about two years, Danni, who lives in Loddon with her young family, has curated a 'dream list' to complete while she goes through her gruelling treatment.

A fundraiser was launched by her sister Natasha Rowland to help make her dreams a reality, raising £6,000.

"I'm trying to be realistic as to what you can do with a dog and a baby, but I'd love to take Bodhi abroad on our first family holiday.

"I'm going to walk a llama, hopefully go on some city breaks - just average things that I can do in the next couple of years.

"But there a few things that are free. I want to potty train Bodhi and see him write a word before I go. Little things like that would be lovely to see.

"I'd also love to do the longest zip wire in Wales and a really fancy afternoon tea.

"I want to do things that feel normal. And I don't really have a lot of energy at the moment so I can't do too much too soon.

"But these will be amazing memories to make.

"Everyone has been so generous in making this happen, I've been completely overwhelmed."
