Two women have appeared in court after milk was poured over staff and on the floor of a Norwich store.
Gemma Barnes, 32, and Lucia Alexander, 39, have both been charged with criminal damage at the Marks and Spencer's food hall in Rampant Horse Street.
It was after cartons of milk were taken from the shelf and then poured over displays of milk, meat and pizza as well as two members of staff.
Barnes, formerly of St Leonards Road, Norwich but now of no fixed abode, and Alexander appeared at Norwich Magistrates Court on Tuesday (January 24) having both been charged with criminal damage to the value of £317.90 on October 15 last year.
Alexander, whose address was given as Hall Lane, Wacton, near Mulbarton, has also been charged with two counts of assault in connection with the incident.
Barnes denied criminal damage while Alexander also pleaded not guilty to the criminal damage and assault charges.
A trial has been fixed for May 25 at the city's magistrates court.
Both defendants, who were represented by Chaynee Hodgetts, were granted bail on the condition they do not enter the M&S store on Rampant Horse Street in Norwich.
