A new food truck has hit the road in Norwich that will aim to challenge customers to try something new and different.
Anelia, 40 and Stanimir Mihaylow, 57 opened their food truck business on January 18 and in the short few days they have been open they have cooked for lots of excited customers.
The pair have a combined amount of 40 years' experience in the kitchen and are excited to bring their worldly fusion-style cooking to the people of Norwich.
Anelia said: “We decided to call our business Bite Into because we believe that our food is so delicious you just can’t help but bite into it.”
For Stanimir, this has been a dream for a while, and Bite Into is his full-time job, but Anelia works full-time as a nurse as well as cooking and running their social media page.
Anelia said: “We both worked on cruise ships both around the world and in the UK, and so we have been lucky enough to try and cook lots of different food.
“It has been our passion for a long time and we believe that high quality food and great, friendly service is a must.”
Bite Into specialises in things like chicken wings with cornflake coating, chips with crazy bites, which is chips with a side of something traditional such as mish mash – a traditional Balkan dish.
They also make their own burgers and perhaps their most intriguing - cheese balls with raspberry jam.
Anelia said: “They are so good we have had to keep the recipe top secret.
“There is something for every preference and we like that we also challenge people to try something different.
Currently the pair are serving from their truck at The Crown Pub, Costessey in Norwich Road.
Anelia said: “We are there from Wednesday to Saturday each week 5.30pm to 9pm being hosted by lovely owners Mark and Nai, customers can come and grab some food and take it home or take it inside the pub to watch sport.”
The pair will also be available for hire to cover events and will be seen at events throughout Norfolk.
