After the success of its first year at the Norfolk Showground, Winter Wonderland is set to return to the venue in Christmas 2023.

The event ran for more than six weeks from November 18 until January 3 and tens of thousands of people attended.

The main attraction was a huge real ice rink and there were also rides, festive food and drink and some Christmas market stalls.

A 76-year-old man even contacted the organisers to say he loved the ice rink so much he went six times.

The team behind Winter Wonderland Norwich are planning to bring it back in 2023 and are in talks with the Norfolk Showground already.

Michelle Matthews, one of the organisers, said: "We battled with the weather at the start, but despite that we had a marvellous response.

"We are planning to come back and it was always a project that would grow over a number of years."

Winter Wonderland had come to Norfolk following a successful few years in Stoke-on-Trent.
