A city centre children's clothing shop has announced it will close to customers next month.

A sign has been placed on the door of the JoJo Maman Bébé store in the Back of The Inns to inform customers.

It will open its doors for the final time to customers on Sunday, January 22.

The notice said: "The time has come to say goodbye.

"We'd like to thank our incredible team and our many loyal customers who have supported us over the years."

Customers will have to travel to Bury St Edmunds or Cambridge to reach the next nearest stores following its Norwich closure.

The brand, which has a chain of shops across the UK, was bought by high street giant Next in April this year - which also recently saved Joules from administration.

Founder Laura Tenison started JoJo Maman Bébé from her kitchen table almost 30 years ago, before turning it into one of the UK’s leading mother and baby retailers.
