A city centre pub has been welcoming guests at its new three-bed holiday apartment with views of the river and Norwich Cathedral.
The "stylish" apartment above the Red Lion Bishopgate is now available on Airbnb.
It comes after an extensive renovation project by owners Nick and Briony De’Ath, who loved it so much they nearly moved in themselves.
The formerly "unloved" flat which was in need of an update and modernisation has now been transformed.
But Mrs De'ath said they tried to keep as many original features as possible.
She said: "We wanted to make the most of the light and airy rooms, the views of Norwich Cathedral spire and the river Wensum and original sash windows and doors.
"There's an eclectic vibe with antique and salvaged furniture, streamlined kitchen and bathrooms, modern comfy seating, and most importantly, enormous super king size beds."
The first guests were welcomed at the apartment just a few weeks ago and their feedback was "fantastic".
Mr De'Ath added: "The location is just a stone’s throw from the city via a lovely walk through the Cathedral grounds, lots of on-site parking, a friendly welcome, and also the convenience of being able to have a delicious brunch, lunch or dinner at the pub downstairs."
