Bloomers, the Norwich in Bloom 25th anniversary ale that was launched last week, is proving so popular it may become available at pubs and clubs on a more regular basis.
The ale is already available at 17 real ale pubs and bars in Norwich, and is brewed by Mark Riches, of Beeston Brewery. It was given its name in recognition of the many volunteers (Bloomers) that have helped make Norwich a blooming city. Pam Keten, of The Friends of Norwich in Bloom, said: 'We were initially aiming for Bloomers to be available until early August. Considering Bloomers' popularity, we will consider making it available on a more regular basis, and hopefully at the 35th Norwich beer festival in October.'
