An army of creepy visitors descended on the streets of Norwich today.
Terrified passers by watched in horror as the walking dead marched amongst busy shoppers on Gentleman's Walk.
The chain-carrying monsters caused chaos as they spooked the unsuspecting public, chasing humans down the street.
Fortunately, they weren't the real thing - but actors finding out how Norwich would cope with a zombie apocalypse.
Josh Walker, 18, of St Alfred Munnings Road, a telephone salesman, said Norwich would last less then five minutes if Norwich experienced a real zombie apocalypse.
He said: 'I would run and hide if a real apocalypse came - we would all be dead.'
And Oliver Cousins, 20, of Buckham Place, a domestic cleaner, was more prepared.
He said: 'I would probably try and store lots of food because I don't want to go hungry.
'I would try and fight them off but I don't think I would make it, I would probably just turn into one and get everyone else.'
But Mr Cousins said Norwich would stand a good chance against a zombie takeover. He said: 'Norwich can be a bit of a zombie city sometimes, so perhaps we are ready.'
Luckily for Norwich, today's zombies were played by actors from Thetford's Combat Paintball team.
Find out why a zombie army came to town and if the city is ready in tomorrow's Evening News.
