Travelling on the top deck of a Pink Line bus to Wroxham for a trip on the Broads recently, it was shocking to see large swathes of farmland, close to a bluebell wood, to the left and right, had been carved up to construct the Northern Distributor Road.
It was even more shocking to realise that by next year it will be covered in concrete, and instead of tractors ploughing the landscape, there will be traffic as far as the eye can see.
Remember the publicity that Norwich had the most Park and Ride sites in the country? Things have certainly gone downhill since then.
