Work to resurface speed tables in Taverham - which will see a road shut - will now be done a couple of days later than planned.

The £15,000 work in Kingswood Avenue was due to start on Monday, but will now not start until Wednesday.

During the work, due to last for five days, Kingswood Avenue will be closed. The closures will be limited to between 9.30am and 4pm.

Buses will be diverted so that their route to Pendlesham Rise from A1067 Fakenham Road will be via the Windsor Chase junction with Kingswood Avenue.

That means some of the current bus stops along Kingswood Avenue will not be serviced during the works.

Access to homes within the works site will be maintained from one end at all times, but Norfolk County Council said it was inevitable that there will be some disruption.

The council thanked people in advance for their patience while the resurfacing work is carried out.
