Charities benefit from NMG and Rotary club’s car draw
Motor dealer NMG’s support helped Wroxham Bure Valley Rotary Club raise £8,600 for three deserving charities.
NMG Kia was delighted to host the charity cheque presentation following the successful sponsorship last year of Wroxham Bure Valley Rotary Club in its annual fund raising for worthwhile charities.
NMG had loaned the club a Kia Rio SR7 for presentations, fund-raising events and local shows. One lucky winner was drawn in November and he and his partner drove away a new Kia Rio SR7.
The charities supported were East Anglia Air Ambulance (EAAA), East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (Each) and its nook appeal, and End Polio Now charity.
Ginny Seppings, from EAAA, Emma Taylor, from Each, and David Prichard, from End Polio Now who had just returned from India on a vaccination trip, joined Rotarians to receive the cheque for the total amount raised of £8,600 which will be distributed evenly across the three charities.
Rosemary Youngs, the Rotary club’s president was delighted and thanked everyone involved for their hard work and support.
