Plans have been lodged to knock down six Norwich homes to make way for half a dozen new flats.
Ipswich-based Orwell Housing Association has applied to Norwich City Council for permission to demolish the houses in Horning Close in Earlham.
The housing association wants to build six two-bedroom flats.
As part of an 8m tie up between the city council and the Homes and Communities Agency, the council is providing a number of sites around the city for affordable homes to be built on.
Many of the sites currently have garages on them.
