To celebrate the launch of the 2016 Norwich Beer Festival we want to test your knowledge on real ale names.

How well do you know your beers? Do you know your Horatio's Pride from your Hoptimus Prime? Which of the 10 ales in the quiz above are real? Take our quiz to find out.

Running until Saturday, the Norwich Beer Festival will host around 250 brews, including beers, ciders and perries, along with local wines and gluten free beers.

After changes to the licensing restrictions around St Andrew's Hall, festival organisers are able to provide a wider range of music over the five days.

Up to 80 brewers from around the country will be involved in the festival, including 40 from Norfolk.

The Featured Brewer at this year's Norwich Beer Festival, Tiny Rebel, has just won the UK Brewer of the Year at the International Beer Challenge.

Musicians will be playing in St Andrew's Hall throughout the lunchtime and evening sessions. Music-free sessions are on Tuesday evening and late Thursday evening. The Blackfriars' Hall will be music free and seating is available in the Cloisters.

Door admission prices start from £1 for non-members for the Tuesday to Thursday lunchtimes. As always, CAMRA members have free entry with the presentation of a valid membership card.
