Each month we search for a tasty tipple we think our readers will love and show how you can recreate it at home.
This month's cocktail comes courtesy of The Plough in Norwich, who are showcasing their popular Polish Martini.
The drink was created by legendary bar tender, Dick Bradsell for his Polish father-in-law, Victor Sarge. Originally the cocktail was served shaken and strained, but The Plough have put their own unique twist on the drink, which is commonly known by their customers as an apple crumble in a glass.
Ingredients
35ml Zubrowka Bison Grass Vodka
25ml Krupnik Honey Liqueur
The best quality local apple juice you can find
One green apple
Nutmeg
Ice
What you will need
A tall tumbler, a nutmeg grater and a knife.
Method
Fill a clean, tall tumbler with ice to the brim - this is very important to prevent the ice melting and diluting the drink.
Add the vodka and honey liqueur and top up with the apple juice.
Cut a very thin slice of a crisp green apple and place in the top.
Add grated nutmeg to taste before serving.
