When are the highways council officers going to stop the endless meddling with road junctions along Newmarket Road in Norwich.

Perhaps one of these faceless wonders would like to advise residents the most suitable exit from Leopold Road onto Newmarket Road, especially for those going away from the city.

MORE: Decision to extend closure of Newmarket Road junction in Norwich for another 18 months put on hold after local residents revolt

We have Unthank Road frequently jammed, no right exit at the Eaton village end and the almost impossible right turn at the Mile End/Colman Road junction.

Melrose Road and Waldeck Road are both short and narrow residential streets, one no entry towards Mile End Road and turning right across the traffic onto Mile End Road is dangerous. Similarly, the exit from Upton Road has a right turn across one lane of traffic and the bus lane.

The whole area has become shambolic without the traffic light exit being available.
